I would consider staying here again and I would recommend to family and friends.

The property was clean and lovely. Close to shops and getting around. Complimentary gin and tonic, espresso and tea was appreciated

There was a foul smell coming from the washroom and it was evident as soon as we walked into room from being out all day.

10/10 would stay here again

Lovely, clean hotel. Amazing and helpful staff, everyone we encountered was so friendly. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was unreal and we had a meal and drinks in Leo’s restaurant and really enjoyed the food and drinks. We were on a trip for a 50th birthday and there was a birthday message painted on the mirror in our room which was a lovely touch. The area was quiet and a good base for exploring london.

Perfect getaway

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with great amenities and options. Breakfast buffet was excellent, staff were super helpful and friendly, and it all made for a perfect stay.

Only downside was room didn't have windows for fresh air, only air conditioning.

Underwhelming

The location was amazing. I found the staff courteous but not friendly. I think I was expecting more from the reviews (no prosecco at check in, for example). We had dinner the first evening at the restaurant. It was so cold, and the service was slow, which was disappointing. The breakfast, however, was wonderful. We did use the pool, which was nice, but underwhelmed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff.

Restaurant cold, service slow. The milk capsules in my room had turned, so every cup of tea had lumps on it. I tried contacting staff via the app as suggested, ended up having to speak to the receptionist. They did send someone to check the TV, but the milk capsules weren't switched out.

Amazing hotel

Wow this hotel was amazing , staff super friendly, prosecco on arrival, let us check in early , beds were like sleeping on a fluffy cloud, pillow spray nice tough, gym, swim were really nice. Rooftop bar for dinner was stunning, views super close of St Paul's. We paid for breakfast which was really wonderful, loved the Omelette chef! We would book again :)

Nice hotel but a few issues

We had a great time. The rooms are very nice and the hotel is in a great location.

Unfortunately the room wasn't very clean...the bed throw was dirty and had been ejaculated on... And in the bathroom the ceiling was brown. It looked like someone had tried to clean up some mold but they didn't do a very good job. Also I requested additional coffee capsules to our room twice in the morning and they never arrived so we had to go to Starbucks. We still enjoyed our stay but there were a few issues. The pool was also so very busy, no matter what time we went.

Not a 4star hotel, dingy and mouldy smell through corridor, rooms are extremely dated, booking.com description of rooms and the use of words like superior are far from that. Overall ver disappointing, premier inn would of been a far better choice.

The location is great and very close to St. Paul’s

Their systems were down and couldn’t check in for hours! We needed to be somewhere and I desperately needed to iron my clothes. I was told house keeping couldn’t do this. Unacceptable to be honest and after various complaints to staff they finally rushed us into a room with just a few minutes to spare to get to where I needed to be. Not a great experience.

Not at all a 5* hotel, 3 at best but good location

I liked the lobby, the hotel manager Barbara is fantastic and should be working at a better establishment

People continually knocking on the door, huge line of people waiting to check in, system failure, staff putting in wrong card details they trying to say my card declined, lighting in room is awful, locked mini bar, no communication in bar to know we had pre authorisation and could charge to our room. All sand/grit in bottom of jacuzzi

The worst hotel in London I have even been to. Definetely not a 5 star one. Hydious breakfast.

Location. It is the only thing which one can like in this hotel.

Hydious breakfast. Coffee and tea only premade from a flask, not freshly infused - and no choice of tea! Not even one free bottle of mineral water in the room. I spent there a week - on my first day one of two elevators in the main lobby was out of service, and when I was checking out the first one was still not repaired, and the second one broke down as well. Rude and unhelpful staff. Unfair treatment of guests - as a Polish guest I was asked to pay upfront (although they already had the details of my credit card), while other guest checking in at the same time were not. And when checking out they tried to bill me for breakfast I had not been to (I tried it on the first day and it was so terrible that I never came back). This hotel does not deserve 5 stars, and changing just the name will not help it. It is the worst so called 5 star hotel I have even been to, even considering hotels in third world countries.

It was very big and spacious.

Our room smelt of smoke we did ask if someone could try and get rid of the smell but whatever they did didn’t seem to help. For the money we spent I expected a much nicer room. The shower was small and you could hardly move in it.

Comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.

There is always a lot to like about this hotel as in location, cleanliness, design, style and overall feel and we sincerely hope this doesn’t change under the new management. Staff were polite and on the whole efficient (see below).

The only small downer was the length of time it took to check in due to the new computer system you now have. Once we reached the desk, however, we were checked in very quickly and efficiently by an extremely pleasant receptionist.

Excellent Stay in London

The executive room upgrade and the room space as well as the view of the cathedral from the room was spot on. The blinds which totally darkens the room. The hotel location near St. Paul stunning cathedral and the metro station which connects you to nearly all major attractions on central line 1.

The disabled friendly bathroom. It lacked a shower handle and the sink was lower. You also don't get to have a dryer in the bathroom and no electric socket to connect yours. The phone screen that stays lit all night which you need to cover in case you like deep blacks while sleeping. The fact there are no sockets next to the bed and the small TV which doesn't go well with the poshy decor of the room. The minibar was locked despite they blocked 200£ for extras and there was no complementary water bottles which is mainstream in all 5 stars hotels.
